Janice Fishman
Position: Technician
Janice joined the Tryon Equine team as a veterinary technician in August 2013. When growing up and given the choice of riding horses or ballet, she of course chose horses. She graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. Janice has mostly worked with Thoroughbreds from breeding farms, the racetrack, and breaking and galloping young horses. She also spent two years as a veterinary technician in Florida. She is originally from Baltimore and enjoys rooting for both of her hometown teams, the Ravens and the Orioles. In her spare time she likes to go hiking, biking, and enjoying nature.
